First Consideration: Ordinance amending Schedule XIII of Chapter 10.96 entitled “7-Ton Truck Restrictions” by adding Emerald Drive from Locust Street to Central Park Avenue. [Ward 1]

Recommendation:

Adopt the ordinance.

Background:

Traffic study results shows there are oversized vehicles traveling on Emerald Drive from Locust St to Central Park Ave which is a residential street. The traffic engineering division suggests a 7 ton weight restriction since the street is not designed to accommodate oversized vehicles.
