Third Consideration: Ordinance amending Schedule XI of Chapter 10.96 entitled “Resident Parking Only” by adding 12th Street along the south side in front of 1701 East 12th Street.  [Ward 5]

The residents at 1701 East 12th Street have no off-street parking available.  There are 6 townhouses and a few other apartments across the street that have a small amount of off-street parking. The residents and the guests of those rental properties will often park in front of 1701 and force those residents to park further down the block away from their home. There is plenty of available frontage for everyone so creating this resident parking only zone will not be a hardship to those who live in the townhomes and apartments. This zone would be about 60 feet long but there would still be 190 feet available along the south side of 12th Street between the zone and Judson Street that is available to anybody.
