Resolution awarding the contract for the Emeis ADA Access Improvements project to Hawkeye Paving Corporation of Davenport, Iowa in the amount of $197,396.25, CIP #34071. [Ward 1]

An Invitation to Bid was issued and sent to contractors on August 6, 2021. On August 23, 2021, the Purchasing Division opened and read four (4) bids. See bid tab attached.

This work includes the installation of ADA compliant sidewalk to connect infrastructure (dugouts, parking lots, etc.) at Emeis Park.  

Hawkeye Paving Corporation was the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.  They have performed this type of work successfully for the City in the past.

Funding for this project is from CIP 64071 Park Amenity ADA Access Program.  These funds are available from the sale of General Obligation Bonds.
