Background:
An Invitation to Bid was issued on June 30, 2022 and sent to contractors. On July 25, 2022, the Purchasing Division opened and read two (2) responsive and responsible bids. See attached bid tab.
Project work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the Gaines and 32nd Street HMA and Drainage project including, but not limited to, pavement removal, HMA overlay, 7”- P.C.C. driveway removal and replacement, A.D.A. sidewalk improvements, subdrains, and other related construction.
Langman Construction Inc of Rock Island, Illinois was the lowest bidder. They have successfully performed this type of work for the City in the past.
Funding for this project is from CIP #35054 Neighborhood Street Repair. These funds are available from the sale of General Obligation Bonds.
