Background:
The Speer Commercial Park 1st Addition is located in the southeast corner of 53rd Street and Eastern Avenue. The developer is Speer Development, LLC of Eldridge, Iowa. The plans for the subdivision were prepared by Townsend Engineering of Davenport, Iowa. The construction of the paving was completed by N. J. Miller, Inc of Bettendorf, Iowa. Sanitary sewer and storm sewer were completed by Hawkeye Sewer and Water of Bettendorf, Iowa along with KE Flatwork of Eldridge, Iowa.
This subdivision included 2,010 square yards of pavement in Spring Street, 88 linear feet of 15”, 18 linear feet of 18”, 300 linear feet of 24”, 376 lineal feet of 42” and 397 linear feet of 48” storm sewer, and six new storm manholes and five new intakes, 418 linear feet of 8” sanitary sewer main, and one new sanitary manhole.
Davenport Public Works has inspected the work and found it to be in compliance with specifications. The sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and pavement has been satisfactorily completed and is hereby formally accepted, and, as of this date, considered public infrastructure.
